About Golf Club of Avon

Ross routed his course to showcase the dramatic elevation changes that define this part of Connecticut. Several holes drop 100 feet from tee to green, with fairways that disappear over ridgelines. The original stone clubhouse commands views across three valleys, while the pool sits on a natural shelf cut into the hillside that once served as a sheep pasture.
